Yohji Yamamoto’s designs are the driving force behind Y-3’s edgy aesthetic. With draped shapes and modernist lines channeling urban sophistication, the result is a wardrobe that is at once effortless and avant-garde.

For Vadukul, capturing the essence of Y-3 in New York City was a homecoming of sorts. “Shooting for Y-3 in New York felt like returning home,” he reveals. “The city’s architectural grandeur and diverse people continue to inspire my black-and-white photography.”
