Patrick Ta Major Skin Creme Foundation And Finishing Powder Duo – Is It Worth It?

This year I have been following the less is more makeup philosophy. Also I started incorporating more creme formulas into my routine. One creme formula I tried this year is the Patrick Ta Major Skin Creme Foundation and Finishing Powder Duo.

The Sephora website says that this is “A duo that includes a blendable, medium-coverage cream foundation paired with a satin-finish powder.”

The outer compact looks like the Patrick Ta Major Dimension Blush compacts. But it is larger than the blush compact. The duo is packaged in a rose gold, plastic compact. I am happy that they included a mirror. It is very lightweight and is prone to fingerprint marks. I always want to lift the top open but you have to sort of hold the bottom and pry the top open. It’s a bit confusing at first. Sometimes I still struggle with opening this compact. It has a snap closure that is very secure.

What I most love about this packaging is that they have a plastic covering the creme foundation part of the duo. I really don’t like it when powder product particles get mixed up with cream products. The plastic separator ensures that the mixing does not happen. Love it!

The Sephora website says “This duo includes a buildable, breathable cream formula that melts into and moves with the skin. It also includes an air-spun setting powder that blurs the appearance of pores to create a flawless-looking, skin-like finish.”

This foundation has medium coverage and a natural finish. It can be used by all skin types.

My Experience

I have been using the Patrick Ta Major Skin Creme Foundation And Finishing Powder Duo for a few months now. And I really like it. I picked this up in the shade Light Medium 1. This provides a nice coverage and never feels too heavy. The cream formula just melts into my skin. The powder has a blurring effect. I use both the creme foundation and the powder together and love the final result.

I use a foundation brush to apply the foundation and a powder brush to apply the powder. This foundation provides medium coverage and the finish is natural. All in all, I enjoy using the The Patrick Ta Major Skin Creme Foundation And Finishing Powder Duo.
