That way, when I’ve just finished a difficult and stunning makeup look, I can snap a selfie. When I’m with my friends on the weekends, we take selfies.
At family gatherings, celebrations, and even on my nights in, there’s going to be a selfie to commemorate the moment.
It’s a great way to show your personality, capture the moment and treasure those memories spent with people you love.
Don’t get me wrong, though. Taking the ultimate selfie is not necessarily the easiest skill to master. You don’t have to be a professional photographer with a fancy camera to get the shot.
It can even be done with just an iPhone, but you do need to remember to always find the best lighting, angles, and composition. We all know a selfie isn’t worth it unless it’s flattering.

Lighting, angle, and composition are the three major components of a perfect selfie. The absence of one makes a big difference and may result in a shot that could end up in trash eventually.
For lighting, make sure you’re near a window or outside. You don’t want a washed-out look in your shot after you’ve finally nailed your winged eyeliner look after 100 failed attempts.
Finding the best angle might take some extra effort, but it will transform your selfies from weak to on fleek.
Composition is important for your scenic or group photos. You have to frame the selfie to include your best angle AND the other people or landmarks in the shot.
Don’t be afraid to crop afterward! It’s your selfie, so edit until it surpasses your expectations!
