New Makeup By Mario Soft Pop Plumping Veil Blush Review

This has to be the year of blushes. Almost every brand has decided to come out with blushes. I cannot keep up with all these new releases. I do not have a lot of products from Makeup By Mario. So when Makeup By Mario came out with the Soft Pop Plumping Veil Blush, I decided to try it out.

The Sephora website says this is “A weightless cream blush that is made with hyaluronic acid to hydrate and plump skin with a sheer veil of color.”

This blush comes in a white, round plastic container. The blush compact does not have a mirror. It snaps shut with a nice click. The brand name is written on the transparent lid. I like that the lid is transparent because that way I can see what color I am reaching for.

The Sephora website says that “This sheer formula is made with hyaluronic acid to plump and hydrate while enhancing cheeks with a dewy finish. The noncomedogenic blush grips the skin while pearlescent pigments create a luminous finish for the perfect ‘no-makeup makeup’ effect.”

The highlighted ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid and Pearlescent Pigments. Hyaluronic Acid plumps and hydrates skin with a volumizing effect. Also pearlescent pigments create a subtle luminous finish. Additionally this blush is also vegan, gluten-free, and cruelty-free. Furthermore it contains less than one percent synthetic fragrance. • Barely Blushing – natural flush
• Pinch Me Pink – pale pink
• Just Peachy – peachy coral
• Perfect Pink – cool pink
• Rose Crush – spiced rose
• Berry Punch – soft plum

I purchased the shade Rose Crush.

My Experience

I am definitely into blushes these days. So many brands have released blushes in the past few months. It is hard to keep up. That’s why I just picked up one blush. I do not get a lot of PR packages and I need to keep track of my budget as well. So even though I wanted to pick up more shades, I picked up just one. Because some other brands I enjoy are also coming up with new blush releases.

Getting back to The Makeup By Mario Soft Pop Plumping Veil Blush in the shade Rose Crush – Simply Stunning. I do not have many makeup by Mario makeup products in my collection, and this blush makes me want to change that. Beautiful formula and finish. It has a sheer formula. The blush is easily blendable and buildable. On my combination skin it lasts for the entire work day.

I have worn this over powder or simply over foundation and I like wearing it over powder. Because I have combination skin through out the day my skin keeps getting oiler, so I powder my face and use this cream blush over powder. I like the dewy finish of this blush.

• I prefer wearing this over powder because I have combination skin. If you have oily skin it might not last very long on you
